It depends on the depth and range of your experience across all interior departments—housekeeping, laundry, and service. If you’ve been in the industry for less than 12 months, this course will help you solidify your foundational skills and boost your confidence onboard. It’s also incredibly valuable if you’re working as a sole stew and want practical systems, guidance, and tools to help you run the interior efficiently and professionally. Even experienced stews often tell us they’ve picked up new techniques, resources, and time-saving strategies they wish they’d known sooner.
DO I GET A QUALIFICATION AFTER I FINISH THE COURSE THAT I CAN ADD TO MY CV?
While this course does not currently offer an official qualification, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from The Seaworthy Stew School, which can be added to your CV and used as supporting documentation when applying for jobs. More importantly, you’ll walk away with the knowledge, practical skills, and tools to perform your job with greater confidence and professionalism onboard.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE COURSE?
The course includes 10 comprehensive interior modules, packed with valuable, real-world training. It’s self-paced, so you can move through it on your own schedule. I recommend breaking the content down into bite-sized chunks and working through each module when it suits you. You’ll have 12 months of access, so you can revisit the lessons, checklists, and cheat sheets (and download at anytime), making it a go-to resource throughout your stew career.
